Customer 1

Customer 1 approached us after experiencing problems with cashflow. The company's overdraft facility was growing steadily, even though they were attracting a lot of business. As a result of our professional services, particularly our strong credit control, we were able to recollect debts, many of which had been outstanding for more than 120 days. Customer 1 was very happy with the work we had done, and requested that we briefly look at the company's purchase ledger. We established that on many occasions overpayments had been made to suppliers. We were appointed to put in place administration and bookkeeping procedures and streamline their accounts department. Today we provide this company with a full service, ranging from invoicing to bank reconciliations and from VAT returns to monitoring cashflow and budgets. This has released our customer from the burden of administration and accounts, decreased his accountancy and staff bill and given him the precious time needed for promoting his business and gaining more customers.


Customer 2

When we first started working with customer 2, we provided credit control once a week. Gradually we took over the whole accountancy system - sales and purchase ledger, bank reconciliation, credit control. When we first joined it was discovered that the books had not been kept up to date and that information was missing. Therefore the end-of-month profit and loss accounts were incorrect. At the end of the year a large amount of information was found to be missing or entered incorrectly. This had led the company to increase their overdraft facility as the management accounts had given the wrong impression of increased profit. Once we had taken over the running of the bookkeeping and accounts, these issues were corrected.


Customer 3

This customer approached us after finding themselves frustrated with the amount of time they spent dealing with bookkeeping, administration and accountancy matters, instead of focusing on expanding their business. Although this was a mature company, their overdraft facility was steadily growing, even though the business had doubled its client base and turnover since they started trading. We have implemented new policies and procedures, analysed the current financial situation and provided accountancy guidance. We have established that, if they had implemented this service when the business started up, they could have saved an average of £4,000 per year. We have implemented computerized systems and produced budgets and cashflow forecasts. The company now understands their financial position on the market and has plans for further growth and staff employment.


Customer 4

This customer approached us after finding themselves unable to find time to produce their invoices. Although they had already appointed a bookkeeper and an accountant, they felt they were not receiving the required information. We were asked to review the entire trading period and analyse the data. We established that the previously appointed bookkeeper had been inputting sales invoices as purchase and vice versa. The bank reconciliation figures did not match and a significant amount of information was missing and/or entered incorrectly. This led the company to loose income and it's overdraft facility rose as a result. We have corrected all mistakes, implemented strict credit and audit trial policies and procedures and are producing understandable tailor-made monthly management accounts.
